-Hadassah College Jerusalum and USF: Global Mosaic Digital Storytelling Project
Prof. Moshe Caine-Interactive Communications Students made 2-3 min long biographical/autobio digital stories about various human condition themes.
Prof. Michael Berson and Dr. Mark Greenberg spearhead USF along with Moshe in a joint effort to share and interact w/Israeli/American digital storytellings-to better understand correlations and commonalities between cultures.
Meeting at 10am Skype
Meeting w/Moshe and students was amazing. I felt connected to so many people that I don't even know via their stories and their presence via Skype classroom. Dr. Greenberg and Barbara Lewis presented USF's endeavors and experiences so intimately, tissue was required. The stories were compelling and so personal that I felt very honored to be part of the experience.

Deadline for 120 hours / Fieldwork Report / Supervisor Evaluation
Per Dr Perrault:
Barbara,
I reread the Fieldwork packet to look at my deadlines as follows: thought I would compile this info for you.. if you already have it just disregard this email.
Deadline Dates:
I have until the first week in August (August 7th), the end of summer session B to complete the required 120 hours of work. Your fieldwork report is due to Dr Perrault on July 24th. She will make appointments in June to conduct my fieldwork site visits. She came out already but remember she said she will come out again later in the month.
For Barbara: Per Fieldwork packet:(p4 of Fieldwork packet)
Upon completion of Supervised Fieldwork, the student will be able to:
#5. Show, through one or more evaluations by supervisors, that he/she had a successful experience and has worked collaboratively with staff in the agency in which the fieldwork was done.
EVALUATION OF THE SUPERVISED FIELDWORK (p6-7 of Fieldwork packet)
Throughout the field experience all of those involved will evaluate the performance of the student. Site supervisors are selected because they represent outstanding professional models and are leaders in the profession who can evaluate the learning process. The fieldwork coordinator evaluates the student and the field report. This approach assures that practice reflects theory together with its sound application. The fieldwork program meets the same rigor as other graduate courses and is subject to the same evaluative criteria.
After students have completed the fieldwork they should submit ONE COPY of their final report to the site supervisor and TWO COPIES to the fieldwork coordinator. The final report MUST include a completed copy of the “Supervised Fieldwork Final Report Cover Sheet” (See Appendix II). The site supervisor will confer with the fieldwork coordinator to
evaluate the student’s performance. Criteria to consider: initiative, ability to apply principles to practice, interaction with library users, interaction with staff, capacity to work independently, and flexibility. Site supervisors may render their evaluations in writing, via e-mail or in a face-to-face or telephone conference with the fieldwork coordinator.
The fieldwork coordinator will assign a grade based on:
• site supervisor evaluation
• log of work
• final report
Remember: Final Reports should include reflection upon the social context of the community and/or constituents serve.

update on studio shoot
Shot 6 out of 7 pieces from Display Case today with assistance from Richard (the other Richard) who had the key to unlock case and witnessed me document the first 4 items (oil lamps) to be shot-and he carried the box of objects to the studio set up. Richard then again unlocked case and witnessed me putting objects back exactly where they are suppose to go and locked that case back up. He then unlocked the other case where I retrieved 3 glass objects for the shot and carried the box into the studio set up. I shot two of 3. The laptop again froze up during the 3rd item being shot and I rebooted computer twice but it's still not working but Richard fixed it just before 6pm so I could shoot this last object so now all objects flat bottom from case on Claudia's list are done. Per Barbara, will place a card holder in case for item stating it is being photographed. Richard witnessed me putting back these last 3 objects and photographed the glass cases that the objects have been put back and are done w/being photographed. Richard did a purse/bag check ( I insisted on this) and I offered bag check to Barbara who said it is not needed.
